Yes, we have been out showing and yes I have been bad about updating you on where we are and what we are doing.  Seems its hard to keep up with #teamriverview these days.

2015 GRCA National

We headed to Wilmington, Ohio for the 2015 GRCA national.

It was a busy fun filed week with the team showing 16 dogs.

All the girls showed fabulous but none of them made the cut.

Andy picked up the biggest win by far taking WD for a huge 5 points!  It was a dream come true. Congrats to everyone involved!

Leslie thinks we may have to make the trip to CA next year but time will tell.

We are sad to say this was Kelsey's last show with us for awhile.  She is going to go pursue other ventures but she will join us again in Florida come December.  We wish her the best!

For now we prepare for the next 7 weeks of shows before the year is out and bringing a new truck home to start 2016 in!

Prospect, PA

Leslie, Kelsey, and the gang went and celebrated Leslie's 30th birthday in Pennsylvania!

Just a few dogs this trip before we have a weekend off before leaving for the national.

Pinehurst, NC

We headed back to the south to Pinehurst, NC for 3 days of shows.  It had been years since we had attended these shows because of bad weather in the past but this year the weather was beautiful and we had lots of fun.  Leslie only brought goldens this trip so that was change of pace for everyone. The gang met up with Amy and her 3 pooches and had a very successful trip!

Kelsey and Amy did an awesome job running the setup while Leslie was running around the ring. I think they all had a blast in Pinehurst.  Now to head north for a little while. One trip left before the GRCA national. I'm super excited about that!

Clermont County KC Wilmington, OH

We took a short trip to Wilmington, OH at the Roberts Center for the Clermont County KC Ohio shows.  This was our first trip to the Eukanuba Hall.

We were getting ready to watch BIS and a light exploded and caught fire.  We quickly had to get all of the dogs out and back in the truck so the Fire Department could check to see what was going on.  Once everything calmed down we watched BIS under the cobblestone pavilion.  Never a dull moment at dog shows!

Lexington, KY title #9

The gang spent a week at the Altech arena at the horse park in Lexington, KY.  We always love going to these shows because it is such a beautiful venue and the weather was exceptional!

#teamriverview started with a bang on Wed. getting a huge 4 point major on Jonah the springer.  This left him needing 1 major.

The rest of the trip we didn't bring in any ribbons but all the dogs showed beautifully and we are proud of that. We had a good time seeing friends that we had not seen awhile and got to see our very good friend Mike Pickard and Kahuna win their first BIS! 

We have a full month of shows in September ending the month at the GRCA national! Can't wait for a fun week full of goldens. :)

The Happy Valley Cluster

This past trip we visited a new show!  The happy valley cluster in Centre Hall, PA. The site was great the weather was fabulous for the most part and we had some fun with friends!  The girls were camping gypsys this week.

July 4th in Huntington, WV and new title #7

We spent July 4th weekend at a local show in Huntington, WV!

Leslie was asked to judge the match Friday night and selected the Portugese water dog as her best puppy in match.

It was a fun girls weekend with Kelsey Martin coming to lend a hand with the dogs.

Blue Crab Cluster

We attended the blue crab cluster in Richmond, VA for the first time this year!  4 days of shows and lots of fun!  This show knows how to put on a great show for the exhibitors.

We were also happy to be inside with AC because it was really hot and the rain kept coming.

We went to a new show for us Dunkirk, NY and for the most part it was a nice show. Leslie also added a new breed to her lineup for the trip.  A brittany named Zipper!

It poured the rain this day and most of the way home.  We enjoyed Cheri Goggin renting her house to us for the trip and Becky Farmer came to her first dog show and helped us out. We think she really enjoyed herself! ;-)

What an amazing trip to the south #teamriverview had!  The weather was great, food was good, and the dogs were great!

The Buckeye City!

We traveled to the buckeye City (Columbus, OH) last weekend and brought home a total of 19 points!

Saturday was a very long day for #teamriverview starting at 9:00 AM and not finishing until 4:45 PM

Potomac Valley GRC

We headed to the hills of Maryland for the Potomac Valley Golden specialties this past week.

We had lots of fun seeing people we had not seen for awhile and taking in a local place for dinner!

We headed out to Monoreville, PA last weekend for the back to back WPKA dog shows.  It felt like a vacation with only having two dogs to show.

Big News!!!!

Leslie let us all know the other day she has officially resigned from her full time job at the State Fire Marshal's office effective April 30, 2015.

She and #teamriverview will be handling dogs full time starting May 1st.  Leslie has had this dream since she was a teenager and we are all so happy it is coming true for her!

We can't wait to hit some new places this summer since we don't have to worry about a full time work schedule to come back to.

We have had some fun in the sun in south but now it is time to head back towards the north to visit our friends that direction!

Tarheel Circuit

We spent 5 days on the Tarheel Circuit in Raleigh, NC.  We really had lots of fun and lots of different weather but did get to break the flip flops out one day.

Albert (golden) 1st/WD for a HUGE 5 point specialty major.  Albert now sits at 10 points with 1 major in limited showing.

We were so glad to get home but will be heading south again in just a few short days.  Everyone keeps saying we need to move south but I'm not so sure about that, lol.

Louisville, KY

We headed out in the rain on Friday to Louisville, KY. We had a new special small dog with us.

Leslie says Pync was lots of fun to show and she enjoys getting in the ring with new breeds!

By Sunday the rain had moved out and the weather was beauitful.

Leslie felt like a ball in a pin ball machine but was glad to have the help by some good friends.

Shenandoah Valley KC

I know you have missed us!  We took a short break during February to tend to some family business but we are back at it now and will be going strong until who knows when! lol

We would like to take a moment to reflect on some events that occurred during February.  My grandma Cheyenne Shaffer lost her courageous battle with cancer of February 7, 2015 with momma Leslie and Grandpa Bill by her side.  While it's not been easy on any of the family it has been just as hard on us.  We love her very much and miss her daily but know we will all see her again one day.

Leslie and the gang headed out to Harrisonburg, Va for a fun filled weekend of shows with some great dogs and friends!

Sadly the major broke in goldens so Moxie couldn't be shown.
